Hip Hop/Rap Covers For Ya Mutha

Hip Hop/Rap covers by indie artist are far from new and I am pretty certain Ben Folds started the tradition with his cover of Dr. Dre's song "Bitches Ain't Shit". And since then every year or so someone does one that catches, this time it is Anya Marina's cover of T.I.'s song "Whatever You Like". It is what it is so I doubt I will listen to it more than twice but enjoy. Also included are a couple of other popular covers.

Crookers have a new single out "No Security" ft. Kelis on vocals. They are releasing a track per month until their album "Tons of Friends" comes out on March 8, 2010. Watch for the next official single, coming out in February, I have a feeling it will be a heater as Bot and Phra start to build the hype as they get closer to their albums release date. What's The Opposite Of Fork?

That's right...(see picture above)!!! This is a new song off of (see picture above)'s up coming album Transferance called "Mystery Zone". The album is set to be released sometime in January 2010. I have always been a (see picture above) fan and this song is awesome mellow classic (see picture above).
