Slumdog Millionaire

Saw the movie Flow last night at the Esquire Theater. Good movie about how 3rd world countries are getting the shaft when it comes to clean drinking water. See it if you get a chance (also stop drinking bottled water). Now what I really want to talk about is the movie Slumdog Millionaire. Heard about the movie a while ago because M.I.A. has a new song on the movie soundtrack. After seeing the movie trailer in the theater last night I was hooked. I know I know...movie trailers...blah blah blah...they are all good and it doesn’t mean the movie will be. But I read some reviews and I'm kinda hyped to see it. It had a limited release on Nov 11, but is set for a full release Dec 19. Opens at the Esquire on Dec 12.

Kanye hooks Hova with Santigold

This is the new Jay-Z single featuring Santi “Santigold” White. It's yet another Jay-Z track produced by robo-voice himself Kanye West. It was leaked on the inter-web earlier this week. All the Santigold fans might remember the chorus loop from her song “Shove It,” off of her debut self-titled album. The track is going to be on the movie soundtrack for Notorious, about the life and death of Notorious B.I.G. set to be released January 16th.

Wasn’t overly impressed with this season’s Entourage but big ups to the peeps picking the music. Another season full of good shit to bob your head to. While using the inter-web to locate some of my fav songs from this season I came across entourage’s webpage on HBO.com and low and behold they have a section labeled music credits. Crystal Castles and the New UK Toshiba Advert

This is the new UK Toshiba advert…pretty bad ass! It’s awesome when consumerism and technology come together to create something rad. To top it off they used a great song, Air War by Crystal Castles off their self titled LP. Loved this song when it first came out and still keep it on a heavy rotation.
